Seasons of the Choir

I believe there are 4 seasons of the choir.
1. Fall, Thanksgiving through Christmas
- Winter break
2. Winter, early spring through Easter
- Spring Break
3. Late Spring through July 4th
4. Lazy, hazy, crazy daze of Summer.

The Important dates are:

August boot camp
-Start learning fall music
-start looking at Thaksgiving and Christmas music

October Mini Camp
-Polish off Thanksgiving music, work seriously on Christmas music

Thanksgiving

Christmas season begins when Thanksgiving ends. We'll be doing a lot of Christmas music. Two questions:
1. Do you want to take the Christmas program on a weekend mini-tour?
2. Do you want to see if we can go carrolling in Northport for the street festival?

Winter Break

February - Spring training. Work on Spring and Easter music.

Easter.

Spring break.

July 4th Performance

Start summer program.

Needs:
1. Recruit new choir members
2. Buy New Baptist Hymnals for the choir.
3. Rehearsal times and length.
